New China Restaurant

Great little restaraunt in the tiny town of St. Matthews. I called in an order at 10pm on a Saturday night. Arrived at 10:20pm and was the only one there. Appears to be a lovely couple running the restaurant. I received my order of a Kung Bo Chicken combination w/ fried rice and I also got 2 egg rolls and a can of Coke. I drove back about 20 min and the food was still very hot. The egg rolls had a crisp outer layer with fresh vegetables inside. The fried rice was excellent! In came in the same dish as my Kung Bo and I ended up mixing it all together but before I did I tried it plain and it was seasoned well, had nice size chucks of meat that I believe was pork. I was eating it too fast to stop and actually see what it was. I will definitely return just for that alone. My Kung Bo Chicked ha

Very good food and the service was very polite and very quick. Food reminded me of Chinese food from my home of NYC. I will return again. Worth the 20 min trip.

This food was so good. Far from average especially when you now live in the Midwest and you crave East coast food so badly. So good.👍🏽

We eat here regularly. They’re always nice and the food is hot and fresh. They stay open later than anyone else in our small town, and, with our family owning a business that also stays open late, it’s very convenient.
