Nespresso Boutique Paramus

Recently upgraded to Nespresso and wanted to try different flavors. This Garden State Plaza Mall location provided an excellent experience with their knowledgeable employees. From the free tasting & sales, you just made this coffee lover to comeback to your store.

Put our name on a queue when the store was filled with employees and low customer ratio. No chairs available and ended up sitting on the floor, why are there no stools at the bar AT LEAST if you want people to wait 20 minutes for pods? They want customers to awkwardly wonder around the store to wait. This store is trying to aim for the "exclusivity" feel to it as an Apple store by making you wait for simple coffee pods, and it's not working. To top it off, the employee at the register was also rude with an attitude... I'll stick to my Nespresso bar at Bloomingdales where I can pick up my pods right away and leave! I love my staff at the Nespresso in White Plains, NY - so friendly! This place = not so much!

From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the beautiful store design. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering a free espresso shot to sweeten the deal. The service was efficient, and they were more than happy to help me understand the different flavor profiles of their coffee pods. This is, without a doubt, the best coffee boutique I've encountered in Bergen, New Jersey.

I had a terrible experience here with the queuing system. Came here to purchase couple sleeves of coffee pods. Lady with an ipad asked me to put my name down, and I had to awkwardly stand / wonder in the store waiting to place an order. Waited for 15 minutes with other customers who were equally confused and pissed. We exchanged glances. What a stupid sense of "premium service" and "exclusive" feeling this store is trying to give! Please get rid of your queue system. Just be normal!!

Visited today (08.15.25) around 4pm. When we approached the tasting area in the Nespresso store at Garden State Plaza, an employee named Alvaro looked at us and said: “Do you just want coffee or are you going to buy?” before offering any service. This comment made me feel unwelcome and judged, as if we were not expected to make a purchase. I believe all customers should be treated equally and respectfully, regardless of assumptions about them. I hope Nespresso addresses this matter so every visitor receives the same warm and professional experience the brand is known for.
