Customer Reviews
The chefs are Nepali, so the food tasted great. Nepali food is not as spicy as Indian food, so it was awesome seeing a nice flow of variety of customers (especially Americans) during our time there. We ordered steam momo, jhol momo, chowmein and chicken choila. The momos were big and juicy. But the achar with momo was average. The jhol in the jhol momo was very good and bit spicy. The chowmein also had authentic Nepali taste and flavor. Chicken choila was average. As a native of Nepal, I would definitely recommend everyone try this place for great tasting Nepali cuisine.
OMG!! I loveeee this place!! I used to eat at their location in Chicago all the time, so I’m excited to have found this location here! Their food is phenomenal. Everything is tasty and authentic and for those who don’t like spicy, they have 3 ways to accommodate your taste buds. I got garlic naan and the spice level chicken tikka masala and it’s just enough heat (and it’s fantastic). For sure now my only place I will go to for some great Nepali and Indian food. Thank you!
The food here is absolutely to die for! I would heavily recommend the fried momos. They’re not your usual American style fried cooking; rather, they are perfectly crisped without extra breading or oil. Their chicken madras and pollock paneer are both seriously creamy and comforting. I will say, the Indian spicy is not as bad as I suspected. If you’re a real spice junky it isn’t overbearing.
Space was clean and when we went hardly anyone. Service was fast. We tried indian Chai, chicken momo steamed and fried. Both were delicious. Will try again other items in menu as all of them looked delicious.
Amazing food and equally amazing service! The samosas were perfectly crispy on the outside and hot and soft in the inside. Also one of the best Paneer Tikka Masalas I've had and the butter naan was fresh, hot, and super soft, too. Thank you again for the gajar ka halwa. I was so impressed with the flavors without being overly sweet. I highly recommend trying out the family owned Nepal House! I know I'll be back for more! Thank you again to the chefs and host!
