Nelly’s SandBar

The food at Nelly’s was absolutely delicious and the staff are super nice! We devoured the fried pickles (the ranch dipping sauce was delicious) and we both felt the ultimate grilled cheese was the star of the two entrees we had. The portion sizes were also generous and a great price. Would def recommend stopping in!

We had lunch at Nelly’s Sandbar. The service was great the atmosphere was good. The food was good, but the bread was dry because it had no butter or garlic on it. I had the Greek Spaghetti. It was a vegetarian dish with a red wine sauce. The sauce was runny. It had no base to it. so I added grilled chicken and they charged me $6.00 to add a small amount of chicken. The dish without chicken was $17.95 plus $6.00 for chicken so I spent over $24.00 for this dish. I was disappointed to get charged $6.00 for a small amount of chicken. Their menu was overpriced for my liking. My granddaughter got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and the sauce was very runny. Not a nice thick based sauce. She refused to eat it. We took it home and I ate it the next day. It wasn’t very tasty. It seemed to be watered

We couldn't decide where to eat today so we took a chance at Nellys. We are so glad we did! Not only was the owner Mike really cool, the food was fantastic! On our drive back to the beach house we were talking about what items we want to try next from the menu! I highly suggest stopping by here to eat, you won't regret it!

I was so incredibly impressed with Nelly’s Sandbar!!! 🤩 We had lunch here with a pretty large group and the entire experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. 🙌🏼💯 We were greeted by our friendly waitresses, drinks were replenished even before we finished our first glass 🫗 (I had sweet tea and it was perfectly brewed - not everyone can make it how I like it!). We interacted with Mike, Lauren & Monica who were super helpful, down to earth and handled our tables very well. We ordered a variety of appetizers including the fried pickles, bruschetta, tuna bites, chicken wings, coconut shrimp, the special which was goat cheese w/ arugula - I highly recommend any of these appetizers!! 🤌🏼🍤🍣🥗🥖🧀🍅🍗🍔 They were cooked and seasoned perfectly and tasted delicious! My favorites were the brusche

Lauren, Monica, and Mike were super accommodating for our large group. I usually don’t like fried pickles, but I like that these pickles were not over breaded. The bruschetta was my favorite appetizer, I was surprised to see such an elevated dish at a casual restaurant. The bread was fresh, not hard, and the salt is the perfect touch. The wings were spicy and crunchy. The fries are well seasoned, and still crispy despite being thick. The fried shrimp basket comes with a cajun tartar sauce, not spicy at all. The onion rings are HUGE :)
