Our favorite coffee shop on the Outer Banks, we start most of our vacation mornings here. It has such a cool vibe, the coffee is great, and the owners are wonderful people. There’s a good variety of light breakfast options including muffins, yogurt, cereal, and our favorite- spinach and feta pastry. Our pups love it there too!

Driftwood was a little disappointing. We came for the high ratings, but found that the coffee wasn’t as good as others in the area. Cute spot though. My husband ordered a cold brew with brown sugar and they told us there was brown sugar in the self service area, but it was only sugar in the raw (in a brown packet lol).

The coffee is really good! The pastries were also very delicious. I really liked the vibe of the place, it was very calm and quiet in there. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby.

Nice little coffee place in Corolla. They have a variety of inventive lattes. I enjoyed a hazelnut/mocha latte that was very good. The ambience is quaint, the staff is friendly and efficient, and they have some tasty bakery goods. We would certainly return.

We come almost every morning when vacationing in Corolla. They are very efficient and competent and pleasant. Drinks are great. I have not had the food but a family member had a meat croissant and really liked it. When finding a coffee shop it is really important to us that they increase the number of espresso shots with increased drink sizes - this seems obvious but so many places give you the same amount of espresso in a small as they do in a large, with just a lot more milk in a large. Most importantly this changes the flavor ratio of a drink based on what size you order, but it also doesn’t seem like a good cost value. Driftwood’s cold lattes have 2 shots in a small, 3 in a medium, and 4 in a large. This seems to be the only local shop doing it this way and so we are there each mornin
