Nellie Custom Cakes

Nellie's cake is the best in the city. We tasted cakes from so many bakeries across KC. And Nellie's is by far the best flavor and icing. Her frosting is not too sweet and her flavors really compliment each other. All of the wedding guests raved about the flavor. Nellie also matched the cake color to the navy blue suit color the groomsmen were wearing. She was flexible when we needed to adjust our pick up time and pick up person. And she was very friendly throughout the whole process. We will use Nellie's for all of our cake needs now!

I called Nellie's to get a cake customized for my boyfriends 30th birthday. I requested Die Hard theme and let them do as they wish and hit it out the ballpark. On top of that, it was so delicious. 100% will call again ❤️😊 thank you!

My husband and I were thrilled with how our wedding cake turned out! Nellie even included a playful touch with our dog popping out of the bottom layer, knowing how much our dog means to my husband and me. Though Nellie is family, her talent deserves special mention! I just love Nellie’s cakes - the location isn’t fancy but don’t let that fool you - it’s a hidden gem you don’t want to miss! My wedding cake was from here, as well as several other cakes over the years, and they’ve all tasted fantastic; always beautifully decorated, too. The white cake with white buttercream icing is the best I’ve ever had.
