Neighbor’s BBQ

Great food! Simple presentation. Generous portions. The Pitmaster has his recipies down. We travel a lot. The best , ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, we've had.

The young guy who works the kitchen is a great server. He is friendly, prompt and clean. The baked beans were like my grandma use to make! Delicious. Coleslaw also good and the brisket portions are generous.

I would probably not return. We got there at 10 after noon. They had just opened and we were told it would be about 30 minutes until they got food going as they has just opened and had to get everything ready. We decided to wait. As we were ready to order we found out they couldn't do ribs or brisket as they just opened. We overheard the cook telling another couple that were there and they left after 10 minutes. Also no corn. Chicken was ok, pulled pork ok but swimming in grease. Waitress had no personality and no smile. She never told us about being out of everything until we overheard another conversation. At lease they have a sign up for Cash only, but have an ATM. Not impressed!!

Charming hole in the wall type of place, the inside was petty nice. I got the sampler so you don't have to- go for the ribs. The chicken and pulled pork are decent, I wouldn't recommend the brisket, but I'll be back for the ribs.

It's hit or miss on the food. The Rib tips where good for the ones you could eat, only half of them was edible enough for the wife and I to eat. The people at my table couldn't get down the rest. Brisket was good, most of the time it's Good to great depending on the smoke... Mac and cheese was just ok and we had to wait on that as they ran out. The waitress did not tell us they was out and it be a few moments for more to get done. She did not bring it out to us. She did not ask how we was doing at all when we was there, but more chatting it up with some other guys to maybe get better tips. She never brought the bill over to us. . The star would be Candy for helping us out when our own waitress was off doing what ever she was doing. Yeah this past visit sucked this time. Least we got to
