National Grind Coffee & Tea Shop

This coffee shop had a great vibe when we walked in as we were looking for somewhere to grab a quick breakfast. We placed our order asking for two coffees and an Italian sando. The kind girl taking people’s orders asked the barista next to her if they could still make the Italian Sando and the barista responded “I don’t even know what that is”, but the girl washing dishes was able to say no. Instead we ordered avocado toast. After our drinks were made, we stood there a little longer waiting for the toast, the one washing the dishes asked the barista what we were still waiting for, but she was unsure. The girl who took the order asked what we needed and we nicely reminded her that we needed the avocado toast. We received the avocado toast as pictured below which doesn’t match the descriptio

The cup was fresh and flavorful, with a clean balance of bitterness and sweetness. The aroma lingered nicely, adding depth to the experience. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the moment enjoyable. The body had enough character to make each sip satisfying. Overall, a solid and memorable coffee.

Never had a bad drink here! Love this little coffee shop, the girls always make the drinks fast, but quality. You can bring your doggies inside. They have good pastries that change up. My favorite is the iced Ellwoodian :)

The coffee had a gentle aroma and a balanced taste, though it felt light. The bitterness was mild, making it smooth to drink. The finish was ordinary, leaving no lasting impression. Overall, decent but not remarkable.

The seasonal coffee flavors are fantastic! And after testing the other area chai lattes, this is the only place I will buy chai from.
