National Bakery & Deli | West – Brookfield

I stopped by hoping to find something that might be gluten free. They didn't have any, but I don't hold that against them. What I was very disappointed in was this bakery looks very much like the stuff that you just get at the grocery store. I looked at the ingredients lists on some of the products and it has ingredients that look like highly processed foods. I was hoping with their history as a bakery that they offered more wholesome baked goods without artificial colors and flavors. Maybe their stuff is fresher from their store than the products you buy at the grocery store but it looks exactly the same. I was hoping for Old World Bakery. But this isn't it.

National Bakery made the best cutom birthday cake for my girlfriend and daughter!!!! It was exactly how I wanted it. I was absolutely floored on how great they turned out. And it tasted delicious!!! Very friendly and helpful service which is rare these days. National Bakery didn't just make a sale, they made a repeat customer!!! Thank you!!!! A++++++

Great pastry and deli in a local strip center. The danish and donuts are good, and they have a wide variety of Wisconsin favorites. Bear claw? Cruller? Yep, they have them. The deli area is surprisingly well stocked with sandwich meats and cheeses. There's nothing fancy about this place, but everything looks great, and the product is consistent. It's a local bakery, dontcha know?!? The staff are super friendly, as well.

I started coming to National Bakery on Greenfield a year ago for my kids' birthdays. They've always knocked it out of the park! The cakes are delicious and always get so many compliments. And the decorating is adorable, really catches the themes of each party! You can't go wrong getting a cake for your special occasion here.
