Nara Thai Cafe

We visited on Christmas Eve and everything was great. Service was excellent but I will give an extra shoutout to the food. I have not had Thai food since moving to Arizona and this place did not disappoint. Our group shred the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and they were definitely fresh and delicious. I ordered the spicy cashew with chicken which is always a favorite dish of mine and this one hit the spot! I got level 3 spicy and I could have definitely gone hotter. I prefer white rice with this dish but opted for friend rice to share with my 2 year old. I shared my boyfriend’s white rice and it was just the perfect stickiness and fresh. He ordered the orange chicken level 4 and loved it. It was an okay spice to share with my 2 year old and we both agree level 5 would probably be perfect

There was a group of 6 or 7 women that were very loud and several other tables were not happy either. They clearly had too much to drink. Service was great though and so was the food. Enjoyed it mucg more once eomen left.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had. We had 2 different curries, fried rice, pad Thai, Hawaiian delight, drunken noodles, spring rolls, and cucumber salad. All really good. Great prices too. We had 6 people and it’s kind of small space but that sat us in a back area so it was nice. Good customer service.

The portion sizes were HUGE! We were not expecting that. And one of the curries - I think the green curry that we got was super spicy that my husband couldn't even eat. The red curry was really really good. And I really appreciate that they got coconut milk for us to mix in the spicy curry. It really helped. Decent ambience and decent place. Wish we knew about the portion sizes, we would've ordered only one curry for 2 people if we knew it was going to be huge!

Went fishing at the pond and stopped here on my way out. Little place with big flavor! The food was amazing will go back again.
