Napper Tandy’s has so much potential, which is why it’s a little disappointing to see it fall short of what it could be. The space itself is great — plenty of room, pool tables, and a comfortable atmosphere that really could make it an incredible local spot. The beer selection is consistently solid, and it’s a place I genuinely want to love. That said, the food and service can be hit or miss. Some nights everything is smooth, and other times it feels like the basics slip through the cracks. With a bit more consistent management and attention to the overall experience, this place could easily become one of the best neighborhood bars in Roslindale. I keep coming back because I see what it could be — and I hope they lean into that potential.

The bartender was welcoming and nice. My friend ordered the chicken tenders which came in a large portion and looked pretty good! The pool is only $1.75 per game and you can't beat that! The pool tables and equipment were in good condition.

Love coming here with a group of friends. It's a rare Boston bar with plenty of room for activities (pool and bar games). I came here to give last night's bartender a huge shout out. I guess his colleague called out sick, leaving him solo on a Saturday night. He was working his butt off in a pretty busy bar. Hope others recognized this and tipped him well. To the owners: give this man a raise! (and maybe staff someone else to help)

Bar manager had horrible attitude. Bar smells horrible. Kicked out people that had nothing to do with a dispute they had with another person. Pretty sure they’re racist. Very odd Vibes toward people of color. This is my experience over multiple occasions going to this bar. horribleeeeee vibe. Also the food is cooked with the same grease the chicken taste like fish

I was trying my best being kind and leaving generous tip but today i had to pay twice and i waved goodbye to unresponsive backs. goodbye hogan and morgana i have no clue what i did wrong but i got the message thank you. i thought at least hogan is man enough to talk instead of holding a grudge but there is no men among white bostonians it seems
