Sweeties has been on my radar ever since I heard about them last year. I made the trek from California all the way to Boston, and I figured it was the best time to check it off of my foodie bucket list. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Taste: I tried the golden milk, toasted hay, cornbread, and sweet basil flavors. They were all so unique, flavorful, robust, and delicious! It was tough to pick a favorite, but I ended up with the sweet basil with a coconut non-dairy base. The texture was light, smooth, and satisfying. In summary, it was damn good! I love that they use fresh ingredients and just blend them in to create your masterpiece!!! Reminds me of cold stone but with really fresh mint too! Bonus points for color changing spoons!!!! They have a fun cooler with kombucha and other drinks, and they support other local start ups and kitchens by selling their products, which is cool!

We happened upon this place after having dinner in the neighborhood. It’s New Zealand style ice cream which we’ve never had before. Jamila took our order and was so helpful and friendly. She explained everything to us and made some recommendations since this was our first time. The ice cream was so delicious. It was light and not too rich or sweet. I got the kiddie size coffee base with blueberry mixin and chocolate cookie crunch topping. Will definitely come back here to try some more flavors. Highly recommend!!!

I had a wonderful time at Sweeties. When I went in, the staff greeted me and explained to me all about their New Zealand style ice cream. The staff are such wonderful people with great personalities. I sat inside and had my ice cream. I love that they are a bar stool counter to eat at. I got the two of the specialty ice creams. One was the chai flavor and the other was a vanilla blackberry. Everything tasted so good. I’d definitely go back. I would recommend parking at the parking lot near the Roslindale Medical Center if you can’t get street parking.

Delicious!! Best ice cream I’ve had in Boston. Just the right amount of sweetness, unique flavors.
