Nalan Indian - Best Indian restaurant in Alpharatta, Georgia. Excellent Lunch thaalis, Kari Dosa, Appam Stew, Idiyappam paya and were served fresh with tasty gravies & flavourful chutneys. Lucky to have found an authentic Indian restaurant backed by consistent taste & a great team of cooks. Fresh ingredients, original recipes and prompt service!!

Recently went there after not going there for over 5 years and I will say I am surprised. The ambiance and the service certainly got better from last I remember but my order was mid. It wasn’t bad, it was good! But it was still mid. I will say the best part of the experience was the filter coffee. It really brought me back to India with the steel cup and bowl and its taste was perfect too.

Kuthu paratha and idiyappam were great! I tried two dishes and will definitely be back to try more. The environment is calm and refreshing, and the overall experience was good.

We visited this restaurant after a friend’s glowing recommendation for their tandoori chicken—and it truly was the star of the evening. On the vegetarian side, we tried appam with vegetable kurma, which had an authentic flavor and was clearly made fresh with quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the coconut and fennel custard was a big disappointment, with a stale taste and an overpowering bitterness. The service, however, was exceptional. Our server offered honest and thoughtful menu suggestions, listened patiently to our feedback, and, upon hearing our comments about the custard, kindly removed it from the bill without hesitation. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner experience and would highly recommend this place for its wide selection of authentic dishes and excellent hospitality.

I was very disappointed in the food. I got take out. I ordered Vegetable Khurma and garlic naan. I was told pick up in 15-20 minutes. Got home ready to eat. The naan was dry and rubbery as if it was sitting out for some time. I've had better vegetable khurma from the store package and cooked myself. I had to tossed the food in the trash because I was not driving back. Such a disappointment! Will try another Indian restaurant.
