Nakato Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

We took our family here for a Valentine’s treat and also for a little mother-daughter date recently. The sushi is on point — we tried the Jenni Roll and the Hope Roll, and both were delicious. The food is excellent, fairly priced, and we always enjoy our experience when we come. If you prefer not to have someone cook at the table, I definitely recommend sitting at the sushi bar!

I was treated to a pre-birthday Sushi Dinner at Nakato on the evening of December 27th. After having been spoiled by incredible Sushi by my late wife in Southern California, and not really finding anything comparable while living in Willow Springs, (West Plains has an ok Sushi restaurant-Kiko), but, finding favorites like the Salmon Roe, Uni, etc., outside of a major city is nearly impossible. Having my old favorites once again was absolutely heavenly. Next time I visit Nakato, I must bring a signed promo picture for the establishment. The food was absolutely amazing 🧡😋👍🏻🫡

We went there for my birthday and it was so good! I had the hibachi steak and chicken with fried rice — 10/10!

If you eat at Japanese steakhouse's often, you may know that they can be hit/miss, mostly dependent on the chef. We had a very good chef and good food. The restaurant could use updating for sure. Our waitress must have been new as she had no knowledge of sake and recommended one that was polar opposite from what I asked for.

I’ve been coming here since I was 18 months old, when my parents first brought me, and now at 31 it’s still one of my favorite places. This restaurant has always been a special spot for my whole family. The food is consistently excellent and never disappoints—it’s truly some of the best around. We always enjoy our experience here and love coming back.
