Nacho Hippo

We look forward to coming here every year we visit Myrtle Beach. This place is a MUST visit. Our waitress Monica was phenomenal! She was super quick, helpful and personable. We stayed at the Bluegreens resort so we got 10% off our total. I ordered the Bang bang shrimp nachos with no pineapple pico and a Pedro Palmer. We also got the loaded pork cheese fries as an appetizer. Music was banging, food was amazing and huge portions and the drinks were reasonably priced too. We will return for more next time!

Today I placed a DoorDash order. The same order I placed 3 days ago however 3 days ago there was a cup of dressing and this order there was not. I contacted Nacho Hippo regarding the issue and the hostess put the manager on. She bagged the food and she stated the dressing was on the dish. Do you see any dressing?! I asked to speak to a GM… the location doesn’t have a GM? Interesting… if this woman who I spoke to is truly a manager for your company you best rethink your staff. She’s about as useless as my lunch minus the dressing and in need of some customer service skills. My advice, order elsewhere

My family and I had an amazing time it was so good. I had the Baja fish tacos. My husband had the steak tacos and my two babies had the chicken bites. We also had the bucket drinks. I had one by myself (hippo) and my husband had one. They were okay you really couldn't taste the alcohol in them at all they tasted like juice. We also took some pictures and bought all of them totally to 55$ you get one for free but we bought them all. The server we had was Shane. He was so sweet and hands on with us he made our experience even better.

Jamie was our bartender, highly recommend tex mex smash tacos, Philly quesadilla and this was not a let down. Brought out a mango habenero wing sauce for me to try and was on a sweet side for me would of loved it a little more on the spicy side. Jamie had great energy, conversation made my birthday lunch amazing. Shout to him. Definitely will be back to see him.

Food was good. Atmosphere was very crowded and hot. No AC, waiters were sweating even more than me I don’t suggest going there if the time is really hot.
