Tailgate Oyster Bar

We visited tailgate for the first on our first visit to north Myrtle Beach. Robert & Jack to all the staff made us feel like family!! After our second night in a row, they send us home with shrimp salad & claim chowder!! Now we can say we’ve tried everything on the menu!! Come for the fresh oysters, king crab legs , clams & we tried the cheese burger too!! We are from south Texas so fresh oysters we know!! Tailgate didn’t disappoint from the fresh sea food to the cleanliness of the restaurant! The owner & his wife are truly awesome !! This was a 10 ! 🙏🏻😊👌 thank you Robert for our awesome experience!!!

Go for the oysters. Other stuff is decent but the oysters are great. Service is always good. Restaurant does fill up fast though, so if you don’t want to wait or if you want your pick of seating arrive 15 minutes before opening.

First time there. Great Service. Great food. Grilled oysters were awesome. Mixed drinks were good. Homemade pies. Listened to Donny Trexler playing music. We will definitely be back soon.

Their oysters and shrimp are incredible. They have a variety of other things as well. They're clam chowder was as good as well. The staff is friendly and attentive an added to the entire dining enjoyment. They are located in the middle of Cherry Grove Beach in a very easy place to get to. I highly recommend them; my entire family has been there in the last 3 weeks

Had a wonderful casual dinner with family here. We ordered the smash cheese burger that was wonderfully seasoned. We also got the shrimp and oysters, all delicious! The owner and the servers were very sweet as well. We will be coming back for sure!
