Naan at Nexton

We have visited twice. This is the best Indian food we have had. The menu has lots of options. The stag was very friendly. The food was so flavorful! Just tasting the gravy and I knew this was th place.

WOW! This one at Nexton is easily the best of the 3 locations in the greater Charleston area. The Hyderabadi Mutton Curry was delicious, with tender and flavorful meat that just fell off the bone, the curry was perfect, and it all paired really well with a garlic naan or a lachha parata, as well as the steamed rice that came with the curry. While it starts at a medium spice level, every bite leaves you wanting more. The Street Style Hakka Noodles with Chicken was about as perfect as could be expected. Spot on! Portion sizes were plentiful. A Mango Lassi offered an excellent balance to the heat from the Hyderabadi Mutton Curry. The Masala Chai was a tad bit heavy on the masala, primarily with cloves overpowering the pallet after each sip. The weakest link was the Samosa Chaat appetizer. Not

Very nice atmosphere, welcoming and attentive staff. Food had good flavor, but seemed inconsistently heated. Same with the naan, seemed homemade, but not cooked to my liking. Actual rating is more like a 3.6, but I'd definitely give another try.

I’ve been to the original location but this was newly open in Nexton so we came here for date night. We were pleasantly surprised by this experience! The dining room is clean and beautiful. They offer a lot of seating and it wasn’t super busy for a Monday night. Their menu had so much variety and dishes I’ve never heard of before but was excited to try. I picked out a white and red for us to try, Indian which I’ve never had before as a Somm. Personally, I do not recommend and did not enjoy the flavor profiles of them. However, they were drinkable and didn’t ruin our experience. The dosa, OMG - HUGE! Crispy, light and flavorful. My family and I came here for dinner on a friday night. Inside was full to the brim, but they had reservations in front of us. They told us that they could seat us but there was a booth way in the back that most people wouldn't even know existed unless they looked for it. lol. We said we'd take it because we wouldn't know how long the wait would be. I thought they might forget about us being way back there but the customer service was amazing. Even though we were in the back and couldn't enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of the restaurant, we didn't want that to kill our experience. They took great care of us.
