māk

I've been to māk several times since it opened. You might say I am already a "regular." The best part of crafting in the māk studio is that my brain doesn't wander to the other things I "should" be doing. I get to be fully present and relax, which I never really am at home with the "noise" of chores ever present. The laundry basket (who am I kidding... baskets) can't give me the side-eye at māk, and that's a wonderful thing. I've done both drop-in projects (the ring dish, macrame heart, mini-museum, etc.) and taken a workshop (watercolor cards). I also had a craft at home I couldn't get across the finish-line, so I took it in and Laurie pulled the supplies I needed to get it done. Doesn't get any better than that! We went to MAK on opening day! Everything was so well organized, smelled of fresh roasted coffee and pastries, and perfectly planned out! We chose our crafts, and had all of the things we needed to make our crafts delivered with instructions. We chatted with our crafting neighbors, and went back for seconds when we were done with our first projects. Laurie is so excited about this next life adventure and has poured her heart into every bit of it. I am excited to learn more about Mahjong, and look forward to crashing Mahjong Mondays. Thanks for putting this great space together for everyone!

This space is so inviting, friendly, clean, and the craft options are endless! It’s a great way to spend an afternoon with friends, or even a date night. Would be a super fun place for a birthday party! 🥳 If you don’t have time to craft, she has a great assortment of gifts ready to purchase. I’ll be coming back often!

A few of my friends and I came here for their grand opening and had a great/creative time. Their space is big and open with plenty of place for setting up and doing your creative project. I plan on bringing my grandkids here soon to make Easter watercolor cards; they will love it.

appears I have entered my crafting era😂! This place is perfect for this. I attended the soft opening and it was super fun!! Did a couple of the projects Laurie had prepared for us and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome, being that I am not gifted in this department! I am looking forward to going again! Love that you can just drop in when you have a little time. Just a cool place!!
