Méxican Deli

I read good reviews, so I thought we would try this place. Since it is Christmas time, I bought a pork tamal and a bowl of menudo. I started having second thoughts when I saw them microwaving both items. The menudo had no flavor, the broth was a very pale red. The only thing good was that it did have lots of tripe. The tamal was dried out and I couldn't even get it to stick to my fork. I don't think I will be back, there are lots of other places in Lincoln that are way better.

This Mexican deli is such a hidden gem. The food tastes authentic, fresh, and homemade like something straight from a family kitchen. The meats are perfectly seasoned, the salsas have just the right kick, and everything is made with quality ingredients. Their burritos and tortas are packed (like actually packed) and super flavorful. And don’t skip the fresh chips and salsa, so good.

I know........ I was super surprised. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. The atmosphere was good food was awesome I am still in aww . Hands down my New favorite place to stop for lunch while here in this area . Uuuff I give it five star and recommend it to all.

The Queso Birria Tacos were made with the truest love mankind has to offer, if you love food and flavor stop here and get the best Mexican food Lincoln has to offer!

Very small, unassuming place, not fancy but food was so yummy. I got a crispy taco and regular carne asada burrito for less than $10. Not too greasy, saucy, or cheesy. Just flavorful and well prepared. I would go back. Thank you for a great dinner.
