Mythos Greek Taverna

We have dined at this Greek Tavern, a multitude of times, and it has never disappointed. The nostalgia to go back to Greece kicks in as soon as we enter the place since it’s beautifully decorated reminding us of our vacations to Greece. The staff, including the owner, Demetra sincerely greet us as we come in and tell us the seasonal specials. The drinks are always on point and our favorite appetizers are the calamari, grilled octopus, sausages, and of course, the Greek salad and dips. They have a wide selection of fish and meat options. My favorite dish is the shrimp Mikonos. There are also several options for Greek dessert which are delicious. If you’re in this area try out this place is highly recommended!

Food is delicious! Wish the gyros/pitas came with a side for dinner. Lovely dining area and quick pick-up. This place is not under new ownership- I did ask directly. They confirmed it’s the same owners - that I was glad to hear. I don’t eat here as often because the price is a bit high compared to other places, but the quality is worth it!

If you want to not only get the feel, but also taste authentic Greek food, this is The spot.! From the traditional Greek salad, to the appetizers, calamari and every single plate on the menu, freshly prepared and delicious. If you haven’t yet, you Have to come and eat or else you are missing out!

The food was 100/100, the drinks were 100/100, and Mrs. Maria was the best—super friendly and excellent. Truly highly recommended, my #1 restaurant 💙

This place was amazing. Best orzo I have ever had. Roasted chicken was delicious, but the breast was a little dry. Maria gave us the best service I have had at any restaurant in the northeast in years. Would come back over and over again.
