Myrtle Street Tavern

Had an epic time at the Myrtle Street Tavern last night! Bartender Todd was a terrific host: friendly, helpful and efficient. He recommended the seafood chowder which was incredible--so packed with seafood that my spoon could stand on end! At 8 pm a band started playing and the bar started rockin'. Patrons were a mix of regulars and first-timers like me; very friendly.

What a fun place this is the dive bar in Rockland, Maine Lots of fun smoking on the porch listen to the DJ talking to the locals. I got so comfortable. I forgot my credit card and they’re very accommodating for me to pick it up the next day.

Best REAL bar in the town. We were looking for somewhere to watch the eagles with hood wings!! Chowder and wings were unbelievable, Reuben delicious!! Chris the bartender was personable and on it! Even ended up sitting next to the owner and some regulars. Genuine people, awesome environment and delicious food! 5 stars! Thank you!

Great local bar with pub menu. Great seafood stew. Low key drinking and eating right in the heart of Rockland. A fun atmosphere with great bartenders.

Visited when waiting for the cruise ship tender. Best seafood / clam chowder I had on the whole vacation was here. By far. Fun small crowd and the bartender kid was very friendly. Glad we stopped by.
