Myerstown Community Library

Incredibly disappointed. Called ahead to pick up a book, 10 minutes before they closed. I double checked with the librarian over the phone that if I got there before 7, the doors would be opened. Got there 2 minutes before, doors were locked and had three very disgusted looking librarians rolling their eyes as I approached. Between snarky remarks & disgusted glances my way I’ve never felt so disrespected. Was expecting way more from my town library. She did give me the book & wrote down the book title to put in the system because they “turned off all the computers” so I will still give one star. The other 4 will remain empty because of how humiliated I felt. Just unbelievable.

This is a wonderful asset to our community. Lots of cool and interesting things to do for people of any age. With an engaging and knowledgeable staff, a coffee bar and a comfortable place to sit and read you'll find the Myerstown Community Library to be a local gem. They also host the Great Discussions Myerstown group on the second Thursdays starting at 6:30. This group has an open discussion of issues and concerns that are relevant and timely. The discussions are honest, lively and enlightening. Come and take advantage of all the Myerstown Community Library had to offer you and your family.

I love having a free, quiet place to be on cold or very hot days. I enjoy the peace and books.

I was very disappointed in the way I was being treated. Not sure if it had to do with the fact that Im a minority. Both younger female and older female were rude and disrespect. Blame me for using a particular website and this is why my prints will not print. Here I went to lebanon library and had no issue what's so ever. It's very unfortunate being that I live in myerstown. I will NEVER feel comfortable to enter this library ever again. I atleast got my refund for the prints that would not print but then younger female took out her frustrations out on me due to her lack of knowledge on how to do a refund. I left crying thats how bad it was. Thank you but no thank you. Poor Ethics.

I use this library a lot I have two young children and I'm so glad I have such a great place to take them right here in my town I know everything is and can be done online now but I feel like it's great to just be able to teach them how I learned and how important books are....plus they have a nice little hands on learning center for small children my girls definitely love that part....THANK YOU MYERSTOWN XOXOXO
