This concept is great but execution is terrible. It’s expensive, it’s easy to miss a lunch order, and customer service is awful. My daughter’s father has his own login and we both paid for the same week by accident. I kid you not the response was ‘that’s not our fault and you should keep track of who’s ordering. We will not be issuing a refund thank you for understanding’. I asked for a supervisor who was supposed to call me and she called after 5p on my commute home and when I returned her call I was told she would call me back in 10 minutes. I’m still waiting on that call as I type this. I think it’s not only rude to tell someone who’s spending their money “oh well”, but then to add insult to injury you won’t refund the money or apply it to another week for her lunch. When we had a hiccup with one of our orders, your team took the initiative to do a partial refund for an order and even contacted the restaurant on our behalf. When wrinkles like these are smoothed out, it takes the weight off of us and keeps our focus on the children and their education. Thank you for your continued partnership with our school. God Bless!

I wish you can order the morning of or at least the evening before. If you forget to pack a lunch and would like to use this service, it’s not helpful. Also, there’s hardly any choices for sides and most of the options are very expensive for elementary aged kids. Who wants to or can afford to pay $7-9 lunches for kids? Then, if they make a mistake it’s not like they can fix it right then and there so, your kid might not end up with a lunch after all. (For example- we don’t eat pork at all. My kids’ pizza came with pepperoni on top even though we ordered cheese only. Guess what? She didn’t eat lunch that day. The company did credit us back for the mistake, but my kid still didn’t have lunch that day. Not helpful). I really think all school need to have cafeterias, period. I like and appreci

Overall, our first semester of experience was good. The app is good, but I wish I could order for me and my son at the same time. I love that we can order or cancel the day before. There were a couple of late deliveries, so some kids did not get to eat lunch. I would like more variety of sides, healthier options besides just salad because little kids won't pick salad. I never got the correct dressing with my chicken wrap, but that may be our employee distribution on site.

This is our second year utilizing My Hot Lunchbox and we are very happy with this service. Their admin team is great to work with and our lunch delivery service has been consistent and easy. I would highly recommend this company to any school looking for a hot lunch option.
