Murray's Ice Cream & Treats

Small but cute little ice cream/treats/candy shop. There were also handmade items for sale. All of the ice cream/sorbet flavors we tried were excellent. They had cheesecake cups that looked yummy that we will try out next time.

I experienced a serious case of peanut cross-contamination at Murray’s after ordering what was supposed to be a peanut-free flavor. I had an allergic reaction that required immediate medication to prevent hospitalization. When I informed the employee, she was dismissive and offered no concern or assistance. My friends looked through the ice cream and found peanut toppings mixed in. It appeared the shop keeps their toppings above the ice cream containers, which likely caused the contamination. I later contacted the business through several channels, but they never responded. This raises major concerns about food safety and staff training in handling allergens.

I have a rule when trying new ice cream places. Anyone can do vanilla and chocolate, but salted caramel is the test. If you mess it up, anything fancier/more complicated/special is gonna be a let down. They absolutely nailed it. One of the best salted caramel cones ive had. And caramel corn swirl??? Genius. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors. And they have a box for the punch cards which i always lose. Did not disappoint, thank you all so much!

I absolutely love this place!! One of my all time favorite places to go when I want to spend some quality friend time, or want some sweetness to cool you off in the middle of summer!! The staff is always super sweet and on top of things! And it's really cute inside!!

Cute little ice cream shop in downtown Homedale. We love coming here any time we're out this way!
