Hoagland Meat

I have been a customer of Hoagland Meats for over a year now and referred several people to them. However I unfortunately can no longer order from them based on their lack of response I had regarding a significant price increase on their products. I sent the following email twice and got no reply, “Dear Hoagland Meat Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about a recent price change I noticed on your tenderloin steaks. On August 11th, I purchased tenderloin steaks at $13.80 per unit. However, when I went to place an order this past Thursday, the unit price had increased to $18.35. I greatly value the quality of your products and appreciate the service you provide. Been ordering fresh local, reasonably priced meat for over a year now. Appears they have been recently acquired by a Nevada company. With that came considerable price hikes. The same “family box” of meat is about $25 more than it cost me in August (pics reflect price difference for same bundle of meat). It saddens me that supporting local ranchers is rapidly becoming unaffordable.

The quality of this meat is incredible. The taste is also absolutely amazing. I highly recommend ordering from here. Plus they deliver right to your door.

Just cooked the brisket we had added to our first delivery. Just learning how to use smoker but using a quality cut like this makes me look like a professional!! Came out phenomenally and we used the taco meat earlier in the week. Used the leftover taco meat in a chili. So impressed already thank you we will keep this service.

I’ve been buying from Hoagland for years. I’ve referred many people to them. I noticed a change in quality a few months ago and then today was stopped by someone I referred to Hoagland in a store while Christmas shopping and they told me they were looking for a new beef butcher due to a significant quality change.
