Mulberry Public Library

This is a very small but very nice library. What they don't have, they can probably get from one of the other branches and have it shipped in. It's located under the Civic center in Mulberry. So, you have to pull around to the back of the building to get to it. There's a small park for the kids to play in near the library, Also a picnic area and several benches to sit on. There's an outdoor screened in pavilion for larger events. I really like this little library and use it often. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be sure to check the bulletin board as you enter, they have many activities and events every month. They are very engaged with the community.

Very nice place to sit and read a book or due work on the computer. Ladies are very nice and helpful. The entrance is on the lower level behind civic center.

I love libraries, so I may overinflate the positives, but this library punches above the weight class of the community's size. The two study rooms are small and really only good for independent study or one-on-one, and the non-fiction selection is almost non-existant, but that's the end of the cons list. The pros are that the library is very central to the community. Right in Mulberry and easy to get to from the surrounding areas equally (Bradley, South Lakeland, Nichols/Willow Oak). The kids section is impressively large for a community with only a few thousand residents, and plenty of Spanish language kids resources too. Great small library! The outdoor space is amazing! Shaded tables, playground, covered picnic pavilion, and a wildlife habitat with benches by the running river. Also we love that there are no computers in the kids section, and the librarians have all been so kind and patient every time we have visited.
