Mud And Char

First time going in it’s a cute little place but it’s really really small. I got a 16 ounce coffee and I feel like I’m missing 4 ounces out of it. I opened my cup to find that a good fifth of it is missing. I got a sandwich, it tasted pretty decent, but the meat was definitely the lowest quality they could’ve gotten. The lady at the front was very friendly and the staff seemed friendly. Prices are OK a little expensive for the sandwich but overall not that bad. I’m just upset about the fact I’m missing a portion of my drink I paid for.

I wasn’t going to review but then I saw a recent 1 star review & changed my mind. Like any other coffee shop I’ve been to, there is a lot of noise from the baristas.. it’s small, yes but I’m claustrophobic & didn’t feel triggered at all? The owner was working the front & was transparent that the team is new and trying their best. My pumpkin latte was made correctly and yummmy. I ordered a BEC on a croissant w LTO because that’s what the owner suggested & it was very yummy. The ONLY thing that could’ve made it better was the size of the chicken sausage 🤣 this place does not deserve a below 4 star review, especially not a 1 star review.. leave that for Dunkin & Starbucks .

Bold coffee with actual flavor ✅ Delicious flavored scone cooked just right ✅ Staff that actually gives recommendations and looks you in the face ✅✅ This place checked all the boxes. I like my coffee black and if a place doesn’t do a black coffee right, then I don’t go back. This coffee was strong, but smooth and really flavorful! And a good scone is so hard to come by, the cinnamon chip scone was delicious! Not too sweet, but good flavors. It was a little crunchy on the outside, but soft and crumbly on the inside 🤤. So glad we took a chance on this place while passing by, I would definitely return!

Went here this morning and it was amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the sandwich I got (ham & cheddar croissant) had a maple aioli that I know I will be craving forever, and the cold brew! It was amazing! I had it topped with a hazelnut cold foam and I think it may be the best cold foam I’ve had from a restaurant to date. The inside was small, but I came here at about 9am on a Friday morning and it wasn’t crowded. I would be hesitant to come in on weekends during peak times, but the service was so fast, it’s a great place to quickly stop in and take food to go!

This is my favorite local coffee spot! Their lattes are always delicious and served hot, and their bagels are packed with flavor. I also love that this business gives back to the community by donating directly to local school district PTAs, so the money goes straight to the kids. I’ll choose this place over any big corporation every time.
