Mr Scrib's Pizza

This pizza place was recommended to me by a friend so I had to try it on a night I didn't want to go to sit down anywhere! I ordered a small 10" that last me a couple meals! They have fresh mushrooms, which is a huge bonus! It was a cute little place with limited seating, but the pizza and the crust was an amazing combination. I love how they pack the pizzas in a bag to keep it warm!

My first time eating at Mr. Scrib's. I had a difficult time parking as I drive a larger vehicle. There aren't many parking spots, unfortunately. I walked into the store and was barely greeted. I explained it was my first visit, and she rolled her eyes at me like was an inconvenience. Disappointed, I placed my order, paid, and walked out. When I returned to pick up my order, I saw a plaque stating they had been in business since 1961! I was greeted with a fantastic smile from a different cheery face, I was thanked for my business and given well-wishes for great food! The pizza (1/2 deluxe and 1/2 pepperoni) and cheese breadsticks costing approximately $35 was excellent, and the ingredients tasted fresh! I'll 100% return for more superb eats!

We ordered 2 large. The first had the toppings pushed on one side. The second had the pieces on top of each other. I would think the driver took the corners of the road to fast. We order once ot twice a month and usually are great service, so we tip well. I regret giving the driver a $15 dip. he didn't deserve it with the condition of both pizzas.

Numerous good options in Grand Haven, but none tastier than here!

People rave about this place, and ive never eaten there so we stopped in. I dont know what in the world was going through peoples heads when they gave this place five stars. If youve been living under a rock, this is 3 stars tops. When $31 gets you a pizza, a bread, and 6 wings, it better be good. However, everything that we had here tasted like it came from sysco bulk food. The bread was stale by the time we got home and had zero garlic flavor, the pizza wasnt even sliced, and the wings which are basically $1/apiece were fatty and gristly and tasted like they came out of a bag frozen, which i assume they were. Overall, this food tasted like it would keep OLD WHITE PEOPLE very happy. If i wasnt 25 minutes away, i would have gone back for a refund. Very very disappointing, will not be back.
