Mr. Sake Sushi & Grill

This was my first time here. I really enjoyed the edamame and the hot and sour soup. Unfortunately the rolls were a miss for me. We ordered the deep fried jalapeño and the deep fried California roll. The batter for both rolls were different. I wish the Jalapeño had the tempura batter instead. The Jalapeño looked beautiful but didn't have much flavor. Odd because looking at it, you think it should have. The California roll didn't taste right, and unfortunately we had to send it back. They were very kind and took that roll off the bill. However we were the only people in the restaurant and we had to get the waitress attention. She was sitting with her back to us most of our meal. Yushan Shrimp and Orange Chicken absolutely nailed it. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the orange chicken had that ideal balance of crispy, sweet, and tangy without being too heavy. Everything tasted fresh and made-to-order, and the portions were generous. Easily one of the best Chinese takeout meals I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back!

This is our second time here. Big, tasty rolls. I’m a fan of complex rolls piled high. Mr. Sake delivers. For the amount of food you get per roll, I’d say it is a pretty good deal as far as sushi goes around here. We liked the dragon rolls, Rocky Mountain, and the one with lemon and salmon in particular. Thai tea was decent too. Open more regularly and reliably than other places around. Other people dining seemed to be enjoying the non sushi offerings. My wife enjoyed the purple haze saki. Love the murals on the walls. Calm music. Give it a try!

If you are looking for sushi that is better than Happa and half the price! This is the place, i love that all the different things on the menu are each so good! You cant go wrong here! Highly recommend the sushi pizza and the general taos chicken

How do I even describe… it was amazing. Delicious. Phenomenal. We just kept ordering, being impressed, and ordering. We thought the Fancy roll and general Taos with lo mien and the bronco were the best!
