Mr. Gene's Dog House

Absolutely great deal for a local Chicago dog and Chili dog, and it was delicious! Plenty of parking and staff were super friendly at the walk-up window. There is also a drive through I'll probably use next time. I was just really craving a Chicago Dog and this hit the spot!

Great chili dogs, great ice cream and great ice balls! Chicken wings were good as well. Worth the stop. The ladies who waited on us were very friendly.

Good Chicago dogs they forgot the little pepper so was it really a Chicago dog? Pass on onion rings they were a little doughy … dipping sauce was ok. Service was quick when the guy realized I was at window.

Iconic food joint with amazing cuisine. Prices are fair and staff is the friendliest around. Love Mr. Gene's!!

It's a hole in the wall. Small menu. They just do what they do, and there's nothing wrong with that. Had to try a hot chili cheese Mett, and I'm always down for a Chicago dog. Both were great, and inexpensive. Well worth the stop.
