Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I grew up with Rita's in Pennsylvania. So good! I'm glad to see them opening in the area. There are a lot of ways to enjoy the Italian Ice: one flavor, mixing flavors, gelati (ice with custard), as a drink (with or without custard), etc... Give it a try! While not necessarily "healthy", some options are definitely lower in calories and sugar than say an ice cream or other dessert when you are looking to have a sweet treat. The flavors rotate, but there's someone for everyone, including non-fruit flavors like cookies and cream.

This shop just opened & what a great first impression. The staff were all so kind & happy to help any questions I had regarding the menu. Their frozen custard is the best soft serve I’ve ever had in my life. I live in the neighborhood so it’ll be nice having them so close. I would love to see them have extended hours during the summer.

We tried an ice, gelati, shake and concrete. Loved them all! Cute building with some indoor and plenty of outdoor seating.

Super friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. Great selection of products. I’ll definitely be back!!!!
