Mr. D’s Restaurant & Bar

We visited Mr. D’s on Saturday around 1 PM to take advantage of their lunch specials. Even though the parking lot was packed and we were a little concerned about wait times our server greeted us right away and the food came out quickly. We ordered a burger, chicken pesto Panini and a chicken wrap. Portions were generous and the flavors on all three were excellent. Definitely great value for the price. The only downside was the game area. The games can be a bit distracting and when someone is playing near your table, the space can feel cramped. I wish the games were more centralized in one area away from the regular seating, but I understand the space is limited. Stopped here to check a new(er) place in town. It happened to be wing night so naturally I had to try the dry rub and It was incredible! The wings had a nice crunch and the right amount of spice. Wifey said her burger and fries were excellent. After making my own assessment, her burger had great flavor and bun to meat ratio. The fries had a tasty seasoning too. My advice is to drop everything and head to Mr D’s for the wings!

Burger was okay, definitely overpriced for how it tastes. The food is a little unusual I would say, but not terrible, fries were really good, service is super slow, took 20 minutes to get menus and waiter came up to us and said he didn’t see us even tho he looked at us multiple times and said hi to us when we came in and told us to sit anywhere. Drinks were good, but overall it was an okay experience, could definitely use some work and maybe more employees, and better food, especially if it’s spicy food (none of my food was spicy and I ordered a spicy burger)

Really unfortunate first impression on a new business. My husband and I were really excited to try a new place and it ended up being awful. We walked in and we're sat at a dirty table with full drinks on it and the waitress just said "oh I don't know who's those are I guess I'll take them", then it took 12 minutes to even get our drinks that sat poured at the bar while our waitress was nowhere to be seen. Waited pretty long for our appetizer but I will say that it was pretty good(Goat cheese hot honey dip). When my meal arrives I was so hungry and ready but the first bite had me spitting it out. Was not satisfied at all! First got my steak they serve it over the mashed potatoes. It does not State that on the menu. There are no knives to even cut the steak. Waited here for an hour to send the food back. I ordered the poutine, which was not the correct poutine. I originally sat here and waited for my food, but after an hour and 20 minutes, I still hadn’t received it. I asked for it to go. I got my steak remade and mashed potatoes remade not worth $27. The burger was so flat and see-through that my child would not even eat it. The poutine does not even look like poutine. Wanted to try this place out because it was new. I definitely will not be going back..
