Carne asada taco was absolutely delicious. They did forget my queso fresco that I paid extra for on it, however. Tried the birria tacos as well (3.7/5). Unfortunately, the lid to the cosome was not placed correctly and came off during the short drive home. Created a mess but luckily still has some left for my tacos. We also liked the Zapata salsa—fresh and spicy. Just a few mishaps but food was good and would try it again.
I went out of my way to get Birria quesadillas. Brought family from out of town. They took my order in person and when I took it from the window there was no stew aka consume/broth. That is half of this dish. They didn’t tell me before that they were out. Then when I pointed it out they just shrugged their shoulders. No telling me before, no offer to make things better. Embarrassing service. The dish should have been scratched from the menu for the day. I bought other things, they could’ve offered to refund money or substitute it with another dish. They didn’t even attempt to make things better
I was so looking forward to some delicious full tacos. Torchies tacos are bigger than the tacos they sell here. Very tiny tacos and when I say tiny, they are a one bite taco. The chips are store bought not homemade. The quesadillas are so small too. Overall I give them a 3 out of 10.
Fairlane is wonderful for a latte but is a bit pricey! Almost $8 for an oat milk latte. I had a sugar free almond and cherry latte with oat milk and it was really really good. These tacos are in the parking lot in a food truck and are wonderful! Solid price too - I got 9 for $37 dollars. We got some breakfast like potato, egg and cheese and chorizo, egg and cheese and then pastor, carne asada, a mix of pastor and chorizo taco. All of them were awesome, fresh, tasted good and would get them again. Also, serve breakfast tacos till 12 which you never see in Drip! Will be back!
Enjoyed my burrito. They were very accommodating if you need modifications. Food is made fresh and loved the outdoor area with the playground and twinkle lights but even better they have the option to sit inside as well. Order drinks inside Fairlane. They have house made lemonade and about any concoction you can dream up.
