Mary (the owner) is one rad woman. She has purple hair, a ton of family recipes that she uses to feed her guests, and most importantly she’s got very wild & eclectic taste that is displayed throughout the Bed & Breakfast. Trust me, you will never run out of things to admire while during your stay. She has the cutest dog named, America too. Mary is a great host, and very thoughtful when it comes to her amenities for her guests. If you forgot body soap, q tips, makeup remover, you name it!… she’s got you covered 👌🏽 The photos are from our recent stay during the holidays. So if you’re homesick while traveling just know this is no bed & breakfast, it’s a “home” and you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed here one night in September with another couple. Mary was very helpful on the phone when I booked with her. Everything was very easy and the cost was perfect! When we arrived sweet Sam (her big chocolate lab) came to greet us with Mary. She was very welcoming. The decor as another review stated is very memorable, all of the art, memorabilia, and room designs will definitely keep you busy trying to take it all in. Very cool. We stayed in the Sun Room upstairs toward the back, it was nice and quiet and has a large bathroom across the hall. The bed was comfortable and the room has access to the balcony which was lovely. ||Breakfast was a very pleasant affair with delicious food, great coffee, and wonderful conversation. My husband and I stayed with Mary and Sam over Memorial Day and had great weekend getaway! We were amazed by Mary's eclectic collection of artwork and enjoyed the stories behind each piece. We even made it home with an antique lamp Mary had used in her home. The food was amazing (loved your muffins) and we loved watching Mary feed the deer buttered popcorn! This is truly a memorably, unique, eclectic place to stay! Perched on a hill in the Hill Country, the view is beautiful. Mary is very welcoming in a unique way that certainly keeps with house and experience. The rooms are very comfortable, as was our bed. The second story porch is magnificent, allowing you to sit outside with a drink and relax while looking at that stunning view. The breakfast was simple, yet healthy(ish) and filling. This B&B is very reasonably priced, and if its a warm day you can also take advantage of the pool.

My husband and I live in Austin we wanted to go closed to home for the weekend. Being a Textile Designer I was looking for a B&B that didn't have the classic look. I came across Mary's website right outside of Dripping Spring and that was the prefect place to stay. Thank you so much Mary for helping me make my birthday so awesome! Your home is so inpiritational and wonderful, full of life and stories. Her breakfast's were delicious and when we spoke on the phone Mary asked what kind of cake I would like I said German chcolate cake she made the cake for scartch, how special.We really liked the room and bathroom we stayed in but each room is different with it's own eclectic look. We will definitely will go back, next time will get her massage! Thank you again Mary
