Mr. Cheng's

If you haven't tried this place please come check it out! They're food is always fresh, hot and ready for pick up. I live in Jacksonville and I ordered today and got my food, it was still got like it was just off the stove. Best restaurant to go to on any occasion. I never had bean sprouts and finally I get to eat them and they're so delicious in this beef dish.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant since moving to Arkansas. I just finished eating some of the Szechuan beef stew spicy noodle soup. They package the noodles in a separate container and the soup has perfectly cooked chunks of stew beef that are tender and full of flavor, Chinese broccoli, and a savory and spicy broth! I love spicy food! And this dish did not disappoint!! 😋

This is the first time I have eaten here, was today February 9th, 2026. I tried the combination fried rice. It had two large shrimp and the rest was small pieces of chicken. It was perfect. I didn't complain about only getting two shrimp. I will order it again without the shrimp. The shrimp we're good but I really enjoyed the chicken more. Fried rice is how I love mine with egg, peas and carrots. I like to have a bean sprout here and there too but there weren't any. That's okay though.

This used to be a good restaurant under the old management (Mr. Chens) on University. However it's gone downhill, the food quality is mediocre at best. Service is as expected , get your drink order - food order - bring order - give you check and fortune cookie. It was made worse as the shopping center area it's located at, have homeless people by the doors asking for money while you can clearly see them smoking weed.

The egg drop soup was excellent. Big portion and good taste. The general tso chicken was disappointing...the chicken was fried harder than sweet and sour chicken. The oil fish dish was interesting. I liked it. It gave my wife diarrhea. I won't repeat the comments about the decor.... no effort was made. The service.... was spotty. At one point I had to get up and go to the front to get their attention to get more water.
