Mountain Thyme Bed & Breakfast Inn

After a 5 hour road trip, we were greeted by Mike. He gave us a tour of the facility and our room. We also got to peek into the other rooms (as they were not occupied yet) all rooms looked amazing. We enjoyed the complementary hand made soap, so much we ended up purchasing two bars to go home. The evening was splendid. No TV, relaxed on the pouch and listened to the birds. We went digging for crystals and then came back, they offered us a place and a hose to wash our findings. Their breakfast was amazing! Also Rhonda makes some fantastic cookies ( a welcomed welcome gift). Both days we had amazing breakfast and great conversations. We will be back!

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this B&B. It was very scenic, quiet, and comfortable! Mike and Rhonda treated us like special friends and went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable. We had the downstairs bedroom with private access to the large porch. It was nicely appointed and met our needs very well. The snack trays that we ordered for the evenings were delicious (we took one with us and ate it as we continued our travels)! Breakfasts were a treat! I would recommend it if you are in the area.

Mountain Thyme is the perfect escape from the city. Rhonda and Mike are such wonderful hosts and the rooms are very cozy as well. I always adore the biscotti that Rhonda bakes and also whatever breakfast they cook. The space is wonderful to be in and around nature, plus the proximity of the Ouachita National Forest means easy access to the trails and other spaces to sit and enjoy our beautiful planet. My parents have been coming here for years and I'm wishing I had started my visits earlier in life!

We've been coming here once or twice a year since about 2000. Mike and Rhonda are great hosts. The home was custom built as a B&B and has everything you'd expect at a B&B. Great place to come and veg if you need some down time. Alternatively there's hiking, exploring in Hot Springs, etc.

My sister and I did a Sister Trip to the Mountain Thyme B and B. on Oct 31st and I loved it as we pulled up the hill to the Big House! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! We even had our personal greeter at the foyer as we entered the home! Ms Rhonda and Mr Mike were so welcoming and He gave us a tour of the home and our room was so perfect! We had our own private door from our room to the wrap around porch. We stayed in Nancy's Room. We enjoyed our elegant breakfast the next morning.WONDERFUL! and also enjoyed visiting with Ms Rhonda at our table. We felt so right at home! We will recommend this B and B to everyone!! We will be back!
