This is one of our favorite places in Huntington, hands down. The seafood boil is amazing, shrimp tacos, wing ding dinner, baked beans…all fantastic. And the potato salad is one of the best I’ve ever had!

Waited 3 days to get a plate and let me tell you it definitely did not disappoint chicken was flacky and juicy the greens were seasoned to perfection the baked beans delicious cabbage had good flavor just not for me it has a Lil kick to it got 2 free huge cupcakes on the house I'll definitely be back before I leave the area! Definitely recommend!

We took a chance based on reviews and we were not disappointed. We were both wanting some good fried chicken, it’s hard to find it, and it paid off. The greens were not mushy, corn bread was good and the yams were maid like my dad use to make them with red hots to flavor The food is made to order so it may take a bit longer than most restaurants but it is worth it. Most of the orders are to go but they have a few booths they built themselves so you can sit and eat. There were a lot of locals picking up dinner so if you are looking for ideas of what to get ask one of them they love to help out. The staff is friendly and want to make sure you are happy and enjoy your meal. So we highly recommend stopping by if you are in Huntington WV.

I came in for Mother’s Day dinner with my husband and mother in law. Let me tell you what. This had to be some of the best food I ate in a while! My mother in law had the pork chop dinner she loved it! My husband had the grilled steak it was delicious! I got the seafood boil (which they only do on Saturdays and Sundays) and man oh man it was a perfect blend between spicy and savory! The potatoes were tinder enough that you could break them apart but strong enough to hold by hand. If you want great food you need to try Mountain Mama’s Kitchen LLC! They know exactly what they are doing in that kitchen.

That story never judge a book by it's cover absolutely describes this place rustic looking when you walk in, but I have to say ordered fried fish, greens, and mac & cheese awesome. If you haven't tried this place before, it's time to give it a try
