Mountain Home B&B

The Mountain Home B&B was wonderful, with welcoming, friendly hosts who went above & beyond to make us comfortable. They shared local info with us and made helpful recommendations, cooked a fantastic breakfast, and ensured us a sound night’s sleep. My friends and I were hiking on the AT, and the B&B’s location was merely steps from the trail. I highly recommend the Mountain Home to anyone passing by or exploring the area for a few days! Lisa and Scott are really in the right occupation as they are both perfect hosts..fresh coffee, great breakfasts, home made jam selection (ask them why the cherry jam is not always available)..||Seriously though, no traveller can be disappointed with the way they are looked after in this totally delightful quirky home.|We highly recommend it as a base in this beautiful part of the world

My father and I had a wonderful experience with this bed and breakfast. Scott and Lisa are wonderful hosts. We stayed our first night and got shuttled to Pinnacle Picnic Area by Allison. We hiked for 4 days and 3 nights and completed over 35 miles on the Appalachian Trail! It was a great first hiking experience. We arrived back at the bed and breakfast and the Cabbin was ready for us to clean up and relax. Highly recommend stay here.

A step back in time for ambience and hospitality. Lisa and Scott are the perfect hosts providing comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts (with homemade jams, cider, and hot sauces), and an overall warmth that completes the B&B experience. The historic house is a charming setting for the overall experience. I can't wait to come back.

Jenny and I loved the historic charm of the house. The hosts were welcoming and genuinely good people. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast fast was delicious and the home made jams were amazing. I would definitely stay there again.
