Mountain Creamery

This place shares staff with Mountain Mike's Pizza. Apparently they are having staffing issues, like many places, so there were only two people working both sides. They were helpful and working hard, so I am not finding fault with that, but the ice cream was kept at too warm of as temperature, so was too soft, but not quite liquid. Also, they changed prices, but didn't update their board. There was just a notice near the register stating that prices had changed. Otherwise this is a nice place to visit. I've been here before and the ice cream was good...so these are the only issues I'm marking them down for with this visit.

Never had stopped here before because Google maps usually doesn't show it on the map view so when I caught a glimpse of this hidden waterford secret i had to stop in only to find out service is slow due to shared staff with the pizza place next door (mountain mikes) which is disappointing but might be worth the wait if the ice cream is good unfortunately the cone I received tasted weird almost a stale like taste and the ice cream seemed to be melted at one point and was re frozen the taste was just wrong. So I decided to get a milkshake at another point in time hoping the first visit was a fluke but no the milk shake was more milk than ice cream and still had the refrozen taste to it. Most the toppings I asked for were advertised on their menu but were not available which was frustrating I

I'm giving 5 stars just because I'm hoping the owner sees this. I've never eaten there but I'm requesting you bring in frozen yogurt. Please add this to your minue and I'll be a regular. I hate having to drive all the way to Modesto just for frozen yogurt. Have a great day

If you're going to Yosemite, you HAVE to stop in Waterford. Scoop of ice cream in a cone for JUST $1.25!!!!!!!! 10 out of 5 stars. Make sure to talk to Jessica at the counter, she's a real gem! Definitely stopping on the way back.

What a great stop over, inside mt. Mike's pizza, a small ice cream shop with wonderful flavors, even found spumoni that was excellent 😋
