Mount Rainier Branch Library, PGCMLS

An amazing place! Most people think libraries only have books; they're so wrong when it comes to this branch of PGCMLS! They have books, magazines, newspapers, video games, and movies. Not only that, through Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy, you have access to all those things digitally. It's hard to want to pay for a streaming service when most of it is available on one of these apps and all it takes is a library card! On top of all that, they also offer so many services to the community. Looking for a job? The library has an event to look over your resume and connect you with jobseeking platforms! Tryna meet people? There's so many networking and social events that either take place at the library or are posted on their site. New to the area and just don't know what to do? Come to the library,

Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable. professional and in short a very nice group of people. It makes it very hard not to want to visit, the library

Love this place! Internet, scanning, and printing services are available. It is a little small but you can request books be sent there from any other PG County library. It's a nice, quiet spot. Overall been good experiences when I've stopped by.

Never a wait. They are tiny and have a limited selection but you can download the library app and "order" books for pickup from throughout the PG system. Also, free magazines, ebooks, and movies are available by app for download from home. Needs enormous capital improvements.

Donated some children books, was illegal parked, in a hurry, liked what little I saw. Hopefully children get to enjoy the books.
