I am an ice cream snob, this was pretty good. Chocolate had a lot of flavor. Taste tested carrot cake and wasn’t impressed, it had the icy almost freezer burnt texture

This creamery is a must visit if you're looking for local, authentic ice cream. The staff are very kind, the location is easily accessible, and the interior setting is welcoming. They offer a wide variety of flavors, a lot of which are inspired by Alaskan elements. These flavors rotate, so you're always pleasantly surprised when you come by for a refreshing treat. The ice cream is also affordable and, most of all, DELICIOUS! Support local!

Good ice cream. Terrible service. Nobody at the counter when we arrived. My sister stood around for a couple minutes assuming they would come out of the back, but finally walked out. I said I would call the store, and only then did someone meander out of the kitchen to take her order.

This was our last stop before we got on the plane to head home and it definitely hit the spot. The two ladies that were working were super friendly, the shop was very clean. There was a decent amount of flavors and there was something there for everyone. The flavor, creaminess of the ice cream and the amount that you got was well worth the price. I got the three scoops, and it was actually quite a bit of ice cream. Jolene was my favorite flavor! A lot of people recommended wild scoops ice cream to me, and didn’t think the hype was worth it. Motley Moos ice cream is SO much better than theirs. Glad we were able to stop here to complete our trip in Alaska.

First time at Motley Moo Creamery and I’m officially obsessed! The ice cream was absolutely amazing 😍—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can tell they put real care into what they make. The service was just as sweet as the treats. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful—making the whole experience feel fun and welcoming. They even made my day by giving my bloodhound her very own pup cup 🐾💛. That little touch showed just how thoughtful they are toward every customer, human or furry. It’s such a cheerful place with great energy, and the people truly make it special. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors (and I think my dog will insist we return too). Highly recommend!
