Delicious seafood restaurant. Monday nights, they have 1/2 price oysters and $4 house martinis. I had the catch of the day which was delicious. Others in our group had the po-boy sandwiches and they loved them. We sat outside and loved it, a little less noise. Great service and delicious food. You will be glad you came!
Had not been in in 3-4 years and was very disappointed. Quality was not there. Baked oysters was raw oysters floating in butter and not sure if that was supposed to be cheese on top. The corn and crab bisque was cheesy and gooey. Waiter was great though.
Food was ok, but pricey. The gumbo tasted off maybe due to too much of a certain spice (couldn't put my finger on what the spice was), the half shrimp poboy was good. Raw Oysters were delicious but have to say, the most I've ever paid for a dozen. Ambience was great! My wife got a seafood salad and she was not happy with the taste. Shrimp were ok, the crabmeat tasted and smelled old. My aunts were with me and they said the gumbo was not good and their poboy was good. We love this place and will give it another shot.
i visited Morton's today not as a guest but at a contractor that was hired to a job. with this being said I observed a lively staff FOH and BOH Very friendly people. I met the owner Ms. Dawn is a very lovely lady, very accommodating and sweet;) I also tried the food it was a blacked drum fish plate with steamed buttery broccoli and potatoes. very flavorful and filling. clean dining atmosphere the Sweet tea was awesome I would definitely recommend Morton's Thank you staff.
Have not been here in a long time. The view from the front porch seating was great, luckily it was cooler than normal in Louisiana. We ordered fried onion rings, which you can get in thick or thin cut, which we opted for half and half. Sauce for them was spot on and they were cooked to perfection. My wife and her friend split a soft shell crab po-boy as well as each had a cup of shrimp and crabmeat bisque and they loved it. I ordered a shrimp nobody and it was truly over stuffed! This was some of the best fried shrimp I've had lately and the bread they use is perfect for po-boys. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were super friendly and very attentive. We even walked the area and came back in to have a drink at the bar before we headed back home. Not me, I am always DD.
