Customer Reviews
First time visit since getting back to NH. We got in right before the crowd so not much of a wait for the meal. We got a burger with French fries and a beer. The burgers were simply great 👍. The fries as well were delish. Definitely recommend if your driving through Wolfeboro to step a little into the past with the old tables and charming atmosphere.
The food here was absolutely delish! I was extremely impressed at how tasty it was, as well as the large selection of food. Split three different dishes with my mom and was full from the portions, brought the extra home for my son and he thought it was really yummy. Comfortable, cozy seating was off to the side of the bar. Intimate. Friendly and helpful staff. Cool decorations and posters on the walls. They also have a larger area of the restaurant with booths for larger parties if people.
Had to spend some time in Wolfboro while a family member was admitted to Huggins. This was a great choice to have lunch and discuss things. The chili is awesome! The burger and beef stew with brown bread that my wife and sister-in-law had was yummy too! Anyone traveling out this way I will highly recommend Morrissey's.
Cozy New England style porch full of booths perfect for small and large groups, happy families ,handicapped accessible where comfort food is way above average.Wednesday is " Italian night" with 4 entrees to chose from : Chicken Parmesan was flying out of there ,all with garlic bread and choice of cavaletti or linguine Senior smaller portion and lower priced dishes available, full bar menu craft drafts, special martinis: coffee Expresso nitro on tap is the most popular Ask for " Erica" to serve you,as she now teaches 3rd grade having worker scooped their delicious ice cream( formerly Bailey's)since her teen years Such a fun staff there...Heard the Pub is fun, too! Plenty of parking right off the main road into town.
I ordered takeout. Baked haddock with 2 sides. I ordered cinnamon beets and maple squash for the sides. To my dismay, when I got home, the cinnamon beets were in the same box as the haddock. The maple squash was packaged separately. Would you like fishy cinnamon beets or pink tainted cinnamon haddock?
