Yum Yum Shop

Excellent bakery cookies, but fairly expensive. My family has been patronizing this business since before I was born. All items are made fresh in daily and sell out fast, so I would recommend placing your order a day in advance to ensure they have what you want to purchase. They have some very unique offerings you are unlikely to find at other bakeries.

Stopped in for ice cream, and discovered pastries & goodies galore. The ice cream was good, but it wasn't site made, just the Gifford's brand. Very large servings. The kiddie cup I ordered was like 3 scoops worth. Service was excellent for a bunch of teenagers with no visible supervision. Bathroom was clean. Whole place was really cute, and the view was fabulous. We also had a lemon puff pastry that was like a lemon meringue pie in a puff pastry. Very, very yummy. We split a maple bacon donut as well, which was good, but not as incredible as the puff pastry.

They’ve been around since I was a kid, quality is still immaculate and everything tasted INCREDIBLE. Highly suggest dining in the back with the view of Lake Winnie!

The Yum Yum Shop has got to be one of the most iconic businesses in the heart of downtown Wolfeboro - perhaps in this entire part of New Hampshire. This place has been around since 1948, and it’s a bakery as well as an ice cream shop! We checked out their ice cream after seeing a MASSIVE line outside. On a Sunday evening after a beautiful, warm, clear day on the lake it seemed like everyone in the whole area was here to get ice cream! There was a huge line but I can easily say the wait was worth it. There was even a girl outside playing live music and singing to keep us entertained. It had a great vibe! Tried the ice cream, at least what few flavors they had left. It was good local ice cream from Gifford's Ice Cream. Sadly, we arrived at around 4, (they close at 4:30) and they only had maybe 3 flavors, none of which I was interested in. Cute place, kept immaculately clean. The young man behind the counter seemed bored and disinterested. All my questions were answered with a puzzled look and "I guess so." Bakery looked good, with fresh goods. But sadly I wanted ice cream
