Moretti's Ristorante and Pizzeria

I absolutely love this specific Moretti’s. It’s my go to pizza place in the area. They have live music some days. Thursday evenings/night is my favorite. We sit at the bar, order some appetizers.. have some drinks, order our pizza.. have more drinks and just enjoy the atmosphere (there’s usually live music Thursday night). The bartenders are always super friendly. Pedro though, he’s above and beyond kind. His smile and positive energy is contagious. This year I decided to celebrate my bday dinner at this place and once more GREAT choice. It was super busy (Bears game AND in a Saturday) none the less our service was on point. The bill was super reasonable for 11 people. I absolutely loved it!! Great job Moretti’s Morton Grove 😁

Visited the location today for lunch with a friend and his wife for their anniversary. My friend is wheelchair bond and no one helped us with the door as it is not automatic. When we got inside they accommodated a low top table by the restroom. Our waitress was efficient, friendly and on point. We all ordered salad and they got French onion soup. My salad was good however, the amount of dressing was over the top, by the time I got to the bottom of the plate it was salad soup. Suggestions are to put it on the side. I guess I could have asked for that but I had never been here and had no idea that was the standard. Also my friend asked about all the pizzas being served and the server failed to let him know it was a lunch special for ½ pizza. I would come again.

We went on Monday night for the half prize hamburger ad we say. Actually, it’s only one hamburger that is half price, but it was fantastic. It was a nice thick juicy cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and served with a big cup of mayo and then your choice of a huge cup of coleslaw or fries. We both had the coleslaw and we are very picky about our coleslaw and it was super excellent. The hamburger meat actually tasted like beef and was cooked to perfection. We ordered medium rare and they nailed it. We are definitely going to come back for half price pizza night, which is Tuesdays. Our meal of two hamburgers with coleslaw and then we had water was only $20. Absolutely remarkable. I have now lived in MG for 4+yrs and finally found time to visit Moretti’s - and what a treat! The staff were friendly, Candice was a wonderful waitress, the appetizer was quick, and the pizza was better than I expected! I am a born and raised Chicagoan, so pizza is my thing! Moretti’s made my top 5 list!
