Moorhead Public Library

Every week we go to the library. The librarians are amazing. They are always ready with a smile and a great reading recommendation. We are so lucky to have this resource in our community.

I was there today Dec 9th at 12 noon and the staff at the desk were screwing around and laughing so loud you could hear them on the complete other side of the library... its truly amazing that the people that are supposed to be professionals act like out of control teenagers with no concern at all for rules or common decency. Extremely disrespectful

This library seems to be no more than an indoor playground. Be prepared as an adult needing 'quiet' at the library - wow, what a disregarded concept, even by library staff - to listen to screaming and yelling children running (literally) all through the library while basically being unsupervised by Phonemothers. I was the party who had to discipline these rude children. Very disturbing that libraries as the quiet sanctuary that they once used to be... Are on the way out of existence. (It is not just this library that no longer respects the long and established history of the quiet expected at them.)

Awesome place! The staff is great. The place is very clean. The selection of books and learning materials is great. The only problem is their seems to be a lot of I'll mannered people or well how do I put this in a polite way. "Homeless people/ drifters" hanging around and heckling people. The Moorheadn public library is great, and I am not trying to put anyone down, because we as individuals all have struggles, but its not great to see this behavior at such a wonderful place.

The people who work here are amazing and make for the success of even the most vulnerable of our community!
