Moon River Bed & Breakfast

The moon river bed & breakfast was absolutely amazing. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Denny the innkeeper. We had one night in the garden suite and it was massive. 3 bed options and charming right in the city. Denny gave us suggestions that were spot on. Had a magical bourbon tasting at Olde Pogue, dinner at Caproni’s on the river, got a cocktail at Kenton stories with spirits, and ended our stay with a fabulous breakfast at the moon river bed and breakfast. Classic home cooked biscuits and gravy and amazing eggs and hospitality. We had a great conversation with another guest who was a professor from Reno there for a workshop and with the innkeeper we told stories and got to connect. The only thing we wish is we had a longer stay! Would stay again at the Moon Tiver and would love

We love staying at Moon River B&B. Very comfortable rooms with an historic vibe. The front rooms overlook a cathedral. At night the church’s stained glass glows. Denny’s building, Moon River, is beautiful.. the floors and woodwork and furniture look like they probably did a hundred and fifty years ago. Sunday breakfast was delicious. We plan to go back soon. You should go there for a uniquely enjoyable experience.

My wife, our one-year son and I stayed at Moon River B&B while we were in town for the Limestone Cycling Tour. The owner and host, Denny, was really helpful and accommodating. It's an older building with a ton of character. Each room is unique - we stayed in the 'Derby' room which was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean and neat, and breakfast in the morning was excellent. It was our first visit to Maysville. I was surprised how much there was to do for food and entertainment in easy walking distance, even with a stroller. I really wish we had more time, we'll have to add an extra day when we go next year!

My family had a wonderful stay! Five stars all the way. Beautiful home, comfortable and quiet with nicely appointed rooms, in the heart of downtown Maysville. Located on beautiful Market street, steps to all the sites in historic Maysville. Breakfast was fantastic! Our host Denny was awesome, and made us feel very welcome and at home. We will definetely be back.

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Maysville. The Moonriver B&B was great. Denny was a wonderful host. Since we were the only couple at breakfast he sat with us and we had a very nice talk. We'd highly recommend this B&B.|We'd also recommend O'Rourke's for dinner, which is a short walk from Moonriver. Their pizza and salad was excellent.
