Monty's River Grille

We stopped at Monty’s River Grille in Milford before leaving town, and it ended up being the perfect way to wrap up our trip. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a beautiful view of the golf course that makes the whole dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. We came for lunch with the family, and everything we ordered was excellent. I had the French onion soup and the bang bang shrimp, and both were absolutely delicious—flavorful, hearty, and super filling. You could really tell that care went into the food. My wife and I hosted a brunch for 25 at Monty’s at Great River Golf Club to celebrate our daughter’s engagement, and it was truly wonderful from start to finish. The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and incredibly attentive. They helped us plan every detail, and the room looked beautiful with inviting décor and an elegant table setting. The view over the course and river is absolutely stunning and made the day even more special. The food was excellent: beautifully presented, delicious, and plentiful. My husband and I are not members of Great River, however we were able to make a reservation for the onsite restaurant. The ambiance was gorgeous, overlooking the golf course and I was extremely pleased with our entrees. I ordered a chicken dish and my husband the steak special. The service was also exceptional. I can’t wait to return!

GRGC hosted the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce 2022 Annual Ceremony. The line Chef Bryan made tasty warm servings, plus a buffet line of mini-burgers with fries, and choice of chicken wings and tenders. Shout out to Food Services Manager Dan P. and the staff for excellent service.

Came here for drinks on a Sunday. Great relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Beautiful views of the gold course and river. Definitely worth a visit!
