I don’t order a chicken cutlet often, but I’ve got to say this is the best one I’ve ever had. It was in the Mattia sandwich. The sandwich comes as a cutlet with sautéed broccolini, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella on top. The bun was crusty toasted on the inside and excellent. My friend orders it every time he comes, and it is also the owner’s and the cashier’s favorite. The sandwich was so good, I ate half of it dry. The other half I took home, and added their tasty pesto aïoli sauce. It tastes great either way, but try it dry first. The fries were uniquely shaped, crunchy and tasty. The owner is a genuine, honest guy and I liked him. The key to this place is using top notch, simple ingredients, which makes everything taste good without the need of lots of extra ingredients. Vinny, Stephen and company are fabulous. They catered and served a beautiful celebration of life luncheon for my late father in law. The service was impeccable before the luncheon. They transformed the church hall beyond my expectations. The food- chicken Marsala, baked ziti and a salad were all so delicious. So much flavor and perfectly cooked chicken that was so tender. Great desserts also. A fantastic send off for my favorite father in law. The staff left the hall looking like we weren’t even there. Thank you Montesano Brothers for making his send off effortless. My photos aren’t so great, but the luncheon was perfect.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Montesano Bros is hands down our favorite local spot. The chicken salad is the best around — fresh, flavorful, and consistently on point every single time. You can tell they care about quality. The customer service is just as impressive. The team is always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. It has that true local, community vibe that makes you want to keep coming back. Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere. We’re big fans and highly recommend stopping in — you won’t be disappointed.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, and from the moment we walked in, the vibe was exactly what you want: relaxed, welcoming, and lively without being chaotic. Football was on, locals were coming and going, and it felt like the kind of place people genuinely love. Service was quick and friendly, even with a steady lunch crowd. Orders came out fast, and everything felt effortless - no fuss, just good food done right. The highlight was easily the Italian hoagie, which was hands-down one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Montesano Brothers Restaurant & Catering is a little gem in Chester County. I just moved to the area and wanted to find some of my favorite places for lunch and dinner and let me tell you this is one of the tops! I just had their chicken cutlet sandwich and it was one of the best I ever had, and I’ve had plenty of them from South Philadelphia. The owners are super nice and I can’t wait to try other specialties. They have such as their pork sandwich and their Italian hoagies. I know they will not disappoint. In fact, as I’m writing this review, a most likely going to pick up dinner there tonight. Great spot worth the trip!
