Monterrey Mexican Restaurant

Monterrey’s new space is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed sitting in the bar area, and we couldn’t have asked for a better meal here. The food came out quickly, and everything was so flavorful. The birria really impressed us, and the trio of sauces with the chips was a nice touch. Excellent drinks too! We’ll definitely be coming here again!

Food is really good. Salsa and dips that range in spiciness level and flavors. Guacamole is fresh and the portion sizes are generous. The mole on the pollo poblano was rich and dark. The fried fish was crispy and tender. The $7 happy hour margarita was also tasty and strong! Would go back!

New Spot - New Review - Same Food Professionals New Locations, New Everything, Except for the Food. It's now Brighter and Much More Lively, due in-part to the new surroundings, I would Imagin. The Taco I ordered came with a nice salad on the side, and the Dishes where far more attractive, definitely high lightening the food upon which they were about to be gobbled up on. I was there at 11:15 am on Day One-(1) , The Bartendress was no Longer Boxed-in, she had ample room to perform her Craft. My Drinks were out in minutes, as was the Chicken Dish I ordered, Courtesy of "Mom" who sported a Lovely and Lively Blue Blouse over Traditional White Apron - very nice touch. The food is decent here. I always want it to have more flavor and taste better, but it's usually just OK. They do have a brand new chef, so I'd definitely give them a try again. New location looks nice. Nice drink menu.

Hands down some of the best Mexican food around here! You won’t be disappointed. Service staff is super friendly and accommodating. Margs are huge, overflowing and strong for the price! Al pastor tacos were seasoned to perfection. Chicken tacos as well. Refried beans are literally perfect (I’m picky with my beans). Portions are amazing for the price. Free Green sauce and salsa was so good, tasted homemade and I put it on everything. I’ve tried a lot of Mexican spots and this one deserves your business! Must include the property is clean, inside is clean and bathrooms as well. Enjoy!
